Tree Ornament Gift Bag

Gift bags are fun and easy to make for all occasions. Featured is a gift bag perfect to use during the Holidays. When making these bags, make a few extra so you always have some on hand.

Materials for bag:

• 1 - 6" x 8" gift bag
• 1 piece of green cardstock measuring 4 ½" x 6 ½"
• 1 piece of white cardstock measuring 4" x 6"
• Ornament stamp
• Gold embossing powder
• VersaMark ink pad
• Green ink pad
• Gold cording
• Red ribbon
• Glue
• Paper piercer
• Sponge
• Embossing gun
• Hole punch

Additional materials for tag:

• 1 piece of green cardstock measuring 3" x 6"
• 1 piece of white cardstock measuring 2 ½" x 2 ½"

Directions for bag:

1. Ink the ornament stamp with the VersaMark and stamp onto the white cardstock. Do this two more times
2. Sprinkle powder over the images and heat set with the embossing gun
3. Color in the ornaments with the red and green markers
4. Punch two holes at the top of each ornament with the paper piercer
5. Take the gold cording and thread it through one of the ornaments so a small loop is made on the back of the ornament. Both ends of the cording should be on top of the cardstock. Take both ends and stretch them around the top of the cardstock to the back of the ornament. Tie the ends to the cord loop on the back of the ornament.
6. Repeat for the other two ornaments
7. Tie three bows with the red ribbon. Mount a bow onto each ornament
8. Take the sponge and lightly sponge the white cardstock with green ink
9. Mount onto the green cardstock
10. Mount onto the bag

Additional directions for tag:

1. Fold the green cardstock in half so it measures 3" x 3"
2. Emboss one ornament onto the white cardstock as instructed above
3. Tie a bow with the red ribbon and mount onto the ornament
4. Mount the white cardstock onto the green "tag"
5. Punch a hole in the corner
6. Use the red ribbon to attach the card to the bag
