Pull cards are easy to make and are great when you want to dress up a treat such as gum, microwave popcorn, or hot cocoa. Dimensions are provided for using gum and hot cocoa.
Materials for gum pull card:
Snowflake stamp wheel with handle and blue ink cartridge (any snow stamp may be substituted)
Bold snowflake stamp
Blue cardstock 3 ½” x 5 ½”
Scrap of white cardstock
Large square punch
Blue stamp pad
White ribbon about 15" long
Rectangular or circle punch
Glitter
Glue pen
Monoadhesive
Paper cutter with scoring blade
1 small pack (5 pieces) of Trident gum
Directions:
Stamp the blue piece of cardstock with the stamp wheel. Score the cardstock at 2 ¼” and 4 ½”. Fold the cardstock at creases and glue down one of the flaps to form a packet.
Using the blue ink, stamp the bold snowflake on the scrap of white cardstock. Use the square punch to cut it out. Take the glue pen and apply glue where you would like the glitter to be. Sprinkle on glitter. Glue snowflake to the front of the packet.
Use the hole punch to punch a hole in the center near the top of the packet. Thread ribbon through the hole leaving equal lengths on both sides of the hole. Take the gum and push it down through the packet on top of the ribbon. Tie the ribbon so the gum is securely in place.
For the hot cocoa pull card, the blue cardstock should measure 5 ½” X 11". Score it at 3 ½" and again at 8". The rest of the instructions are the same.
