Score So Saffron cardstock 1" on the two 5 ½" sides and 2" on the two 4 ¼" sides. You will have 4 score lines total.
Snip the 4 middle score lines to the 1" score lines.
Step 2
Ink the diamond stamp with So Saffron ink. Stamp the So Saffron cardstock first in the center at the bottom and then in the center at the top. Then stamp the edges. If the stamped images don't meet in the middle, it's ok because that will be the bottom of your box and it won't be seen.
Step 3
Ink the argyle stamp (diamond outline) with Chocolate Chip ink and stamp in the same way as the previous step.
Don't worry about lining up the outline stamp with the original diamond. Just do your best.
Step 4
Fold on all the scored lines.
Step 5
Attach sticky strip to two opposite end flaps on the stamped side towards the edge.
Apply monoadhesive to the middle flaps on the stamped side.
Step 6
Bring the box together so the 4 corner flaps are standing straight up and down. The flaps with the sticky strip will adhere behind the flaps that have no adhesive. Press the middle flap into the side so its adhesive will stick to the larger outside flaps.
Step 7
We'll now build the handles of the box. The monoadhesive will be used to attach the ribbon to the box.
Apply a small amount of monoadhesive to the end of the grosgrain. Starting at the bottom of the box attach the grosgrain to the box. Pull the grosgrain around to to the top of the box. Use your fingers to measure the place on the grosgrain where it stops at the top. Apply intermittent pieces of monoadhesive on the grosgrain until you reach your finger. Press the monoadhesived grosgrain onto the box.
Step 8
Next make the handle. Make a loop for the handle and again use your finger to hold the place where the monoadhesive should start on the grosgrain again.
Attach the grosgrain with the monoadhesive all the way around the bottom to the top of the box on the other side.
Step 9
Make the second loop and pull the grosgrain down around the box until it meets with the beginning.
Step 10
Stamp the flowers in Rose Red ink onto the Regal Rose and Rose Red cardstock.
Punch out using the flower punch.
*Tip: Stamp the flowers upside down so they fit inside the punch. When punching, hold the punch upside down so you can line up the punch with the stamped image.
Step 11
Attach the flowers together so one small Rose Red flower is on top of a large Regal Rose flower and vice versa.
Attach one flower to each side of the box.
Step 12
Put some candy in the cellophane bag and tie off with the gold cording. Put inside the box.
