Ink large pumpkin with Going Gray. Stamp on Whisper White cardstock. Cut out with scissors.
Step 2
Punch 2 squares from the Going Gray cardstock with the ¾" square punch. Cut the square on the diagonal to make 4 trianges.
Step 3
Glue one triangle at the top to make the cone of the rocket. Glue 2 more on the bottom sides to make the fins.
Step 4
Ink number with Real Red. Stamp on scrap Whisper White cardstock. Punch out usng the large oval punch.
Step 5
Adhere number to the center of the rocket. Adhere rocket to the Night of Navy cardstock, but do not add adhesive to its tail.
Step 6
Snip off a few thin 1" strips of Real Red and Only Orange cardstock. Twist them around and bend them to give them some texture and make them stand up a little. Adhere 5-7 stripes under the tail of the rocket.
Step 7
Use the white gel pen to draw little stars all over the Night of navy cardstock.
Step 8
Wheel Swirling Stars with Real Red over both pieces of Real Red cardstock.
Step 9
Place one piece of Real Red cardstock in the paper cutter so the stamped side is up and the cardstock is East/West. Score at 2" and 3 ½".
Place the second piece in the paper cutter so the stamped side is down. Again score at 2" and 3 ½".
Step 10
Fold both pieces of Real Red cardstock on the score lines to make a mountain fold or an "M". With the stamped sides on the outside, the pieces should mirror each other.
Step 11
Hold one piece of Real Red cardstock so the 2 small panels are on the left and largest panel is on the right.
This is how the front of your card will be situated. Adhere the Night of Navy cardstock to the large panel.
Step 12
Ink "Birthdays are the BEST" with Basic Black. Stamp on the right edge of Real Red cardstock.
Step 13
Flip over the Real Red cardstock and put adhesive on the small edge panel *only*.
Adhere that to the other piece of Real Red cardstock so that the small scored panels are opposite each other.
Step 14
Decorate the 3" x 5" piece of whisper white cardstock which is to be the pop-up.
Fold up the lower left hand corner. Add adhesive to that corner on the backside.
Step 15
Unfold the corner. Open the Real Red cardstock pieces. Place white cardstock in the small center panel so the glued corner will stick to it. Make sure it is flush with the score line.
Step 16
Adhere the front and back pieces of Real Red cardstock together. Add adhesive only to the small outside panel of the back piece.
Step 17
Once dry, you can pull on either side of the card to make the message wipe up and down.
