Punch 8 scallops from the paper. I used 2 different patterns.
Step 2
Score each scallop in the center. Be sure to score in the knotch between each rounded edge.
Fold each scallop on the score line so the pattern you want to show is on the inside.
Step 3
Apply glue to one half of a scallop. Adhere to one half of another scallop. The inside patterns (the patterns you don't want to have showing) should be glued together.
Step 4
Apply glue to one half of another scallop (the side that should be on the inside) and adhere to one of the previous scallops.
If you are using 2 different papers, be sure to alternate.
Step 5
Keep doing step 5 until you run out of scallops
Step 5
Apply glue or sticky strip to the inside edges of the flap. Fold up flap to adhere to the card to form the pocket.
Step 6
Create a loop in the cording by tying a knot.
Step 7
Add a round pretties bead.
Step 8
Open and compress the ornament so the core is exposed. Add a piece of sticky strip to the core of the ornament.
Step 9
Place the gold cording in the center of the sticky strip so the bead is flush with the ornament.
Step 10
Glue the outside scallops together.
Thread an oblong pretties bead onto the cording. Tie a knot and cut off the excess.
