Step 1

Choose a chipboard ornament and pop out the center shape.

Step 2

Ink one side of the ornament (not the center piece) with Real Red craft ink.

Step 3

Heat set the ink using an embossing gun.

Step 4

Trace the ornament onto a piece of Dashing DSP. Cut out.

Step 5

Glue the paper onto the backside of the ornament.

Step 6

Ink the shape with Real Red craft ink.

Step 7

Pour on iridescent ice embossing powder and melt with the embossing gun.

Step 8

Once the shape has cooled, rub VersaMark all over.

Step 9

Pour on glassy glaze embossing powder and melt with the heat gun.

Step 10

Repeat steps 8 and 9 to get 2 coats of glassy glaze embossing powder. Make sure the surface is nice and smooth.

Step 11

Adhere the shape to the back of the ornament. Try to line up the shape with cutout on the front. The best way to do this is to hold the ornament up to the light.

Step 12

Use the crop-o-dile to punch 2 holes near the edge or the ornament.

Step 13

Thread grosgrain ribbon through the holes and tie a bow on the side that has the embossed shaped. This is the front of the ornament.

Step 14

Thread some elastic cord through the top hole and tie a knot at the end to form a loop. Your ornament is ready to hang on the tree!
